Diva #265 - stripes

Here are my Diva tiles for this week.

Getting healthy

There's been a bit going on in my world lately.

For a start, I have added some new pages to my blog. One of the pages is called No More Excuses. That's my health improvement mini-blog, or blog within a blog?

After spending a week at a health retreat, I've come back home determined to make changes to improve my health. One of the changes is to follow a specific exercise plan and not just say that I'm going to exercise more. As part of that, I got early yesterday and did a half hour weights session on my back deck while this morning I went for a jog/power walk.

See more here.

Travel to the Snowy Mountains

Another addition to my blog is a page about travelling to the Snowy Mountains last weekend.

The purpose of the trip was to get out of town for a short break, have some fun driving, do some bush walking, and reconnect with some favourite places. We I had not intended was to get lost on a bush walk or to struggle through thigh high scrub to rejoin a walking trail but that's what happened. I found it stressful but the Husband loves this sort of off-track exploring. Mmmmm.

We stayed at Bimblegumbie. It has the most amazing garden, complete with unusual sculptures. And yes, they are urinals below.

See more here.

Have a good week and thanks for supporting my blog.

I like your 3 tiles, every one has his special accent: in the first one you have created a beautiful background and I like your stripes. In the second one, I like very much Tripoli that brings a sparkle in your tile and in the thirth one you have made nice contrasts between the black and white and that blue accent gives that little extra, nice work.
Sometimes, we have to do more to stay in good condition, it is a splendid idea to follow a pattern in your exercises. Wish you success!!! and take care.

Great tiles and Hope that you had a good time on your walk about, even if it was stressful for a time. Loved the sculptures, they made me laugh!

Oh how I would love to go to a place called Bimblegumbie. That is the best place name ever. I'm sorry you had the stress of getting a bit lost but at least now you have the fun of telling it. It looks a very beautiful area. As for the tiles, I like your different approaches and you have chosen a rich mix of patterns.

Bimblegumbie! Delightful sounding place. Sorry you got lost, but you found your way and now you have a story forever. The best stories usually start out stressful :) Nice tile, each with a completely different flavor. Good for you. Taking care of oneself is not easy. Do be careful with the exercise. Get some good advice. I did a lot of damage to my body exercising the wrong way.

I do like your tiles!
I like that name Bimblegumble too, it sounds like a place in a fairy tale :-)
It's so important to try improve your health. I have COPD and had also diabetes. After the last diagnose I lost 11,5 kg and .... no more diabetes! Twice a week I go to a special session at a physiotherapist for the COPD; it's like fitness but especially good for COPD condition. I feel so much better since I do that. I wish you succes (and like Jean sais, be careful).

Your 3 tiles are beautiful, especially the second one. I like the triangle- shaped pattern that you colored as a gradient from blue to green. Sorry for describing instead of using the names of the different patterns. I'm new to zentangle and have to learn the names :)
