I have been drawing but the tile is a very detailed Opus tile that I don't want to rush. It will be ready next week.
Diva #325 - Peanuckle
Guest blogger Jessica encouraged us to love the Peanuckle. Sorry, Jess, but Peanuckle and I are not made for each other at all.
I tried twice and in a notebook but it just doesn't feel comfortable or look good when I draw it.
Here are my tiles anyway.

This is Arthur getting involved as I do some lesson prep today. Wish he would choose more convenient times for a cuddle and attention. It's very hard to type with a cat on the keyboard.
Have a great week and thanks for dropping by.

I applaud you for stepping out of your comfort zone, trying peanuckle and posting the pics. Great job! I especially appreciate the plump S shapes in the second tile and how it looks so much like a basket. Play with this tangle every once in a while and see if it grows on you. Hope so!
And thanks for participating in the Diva Challenge this week. :-)
I hate everybody who mastered pea-nuckle in this challenge and posted incredible tiles. Yes, you, you Miss L, are one of them. ARGH!!! Well, I feel a lot better now and can go back into my corner to sulk some more.
There seems to be so many ppl who don't like Peanuckle, I haven't started yet but I don't remember not liking it. The tiles so far all look great to me? I usually found the only time my cats wanted to be with me was when I was doing something.
Peanuckle seems to have given a lot of tanglers fits this week. I am so impressed with everyone who gave it their best shot though. Yours turned out beautifully! Hugs to Arthur :)
I like those tiles and the first one is my absolute favorite!!!!
Miss L: Your tangle of Peanuckle looks great. It looks like peanuts all hooked together like they are supposed to. I think you did a great job on them, don't beat yourself up...you do fine work.
Well you nailed it with this pattern and I'm mildly envious. However, having seen this, I think I may go back and give it another try.
Well, in spite of your difficulty with Peanuckle your results are wonderful! I especially love the 2nd one;-) Ha! Arthur and my Aimee are two peas in a pod. Gotta be right up in the middle of your business πΌπ
I agree with the comments that you did well with Pea-nuckle. I usually tell my students that what i show them is not so they can copy it. Make it your own. That is what you did.
Despite your protestations, by your second tile, you were right there with a very nice tanglelation of Peanuckle that serves its vase purpose admirably. (If you did not intend a vase purpose---nevermind. ;-)
I think you hurt Arthur's feelings. He appears to be giving you a feline stink eye in the photo. :)
I like how wicker-y these look. Woven, like baskets. As for the cat, believe me, they know. Mom's busy? That means lap time.
Your tiles look great and I love the kitty pic ;)
