I started the page at Melbourne Airport on my way to Tasmania to draw with Shelly Beauch, I addded to it during the week, and then did some more while waiting at Melbourne Airport for my delayed return flight to Canberra.
Here's the tile and my selfie, primer opened and pen in hand.
You might notice the pressure garment on my left hand. It extends all the way up my arm, is a relic of having cancer and is something I have to wear every time I fly. It prevents me getting lymphedema.
Zentangle Primer and Journal
I've had some pretty nice comments about my use of the ZT Primer journal - both on this blog and on the ZT mosaic app. Remember that there are no mistakes in Zentangle. Don't let the loveliness of the journal stop you from using it and making it your own. The journal is meant to DRAW IN.
Here's one of my recent drawings, based on the image on page 46 of the Primer. My favourite tangle in this is Shattuck - I've learnt how to vary the weight of my pen lines in it, which is something I've not been confident to do before.
Tasmania trip
Readers of this blog would know that I love to travel, and I'm enjoying travelling solo sometimes. My recent trip was to Tasmania.
Here's some photos. Photos were mostly taken in the Bay of Fires region in the NE Tasmania.

This is a great journal page. I think it was wonderful that you were able to travel to draw with Shelly Beach. That would be so much fun!!
Beautiful pictures and your tile is also nice. I cannot draw in such a busy neighbourhood, I need quietness. It is also impossible for me to draw on a boat or an airplane or even in a car. I become dizzy, that is why I am not on the challenge this week!
Having done some of the lessons from the Primer I was very interested to see your results in the journal. Two z strings fills the page nicely. Lovely work and response to the challenge.
As a wanderluster myself, I have tangled for many an hour in airports and even on airplanes. Turbulence can be a problem. I have a journal I was given when I attended the CZT 18 program in Providence and I have been "afraid" to use it. You've almost convinced me that I need to get over that. Thanks for sharing some of your Tasmania photos along with your tangles. I hope to get there some day. Is the orange on the rocks lichen? It makes for a very interesting photo.

Beautiful journal pages. They flow together well, which is something I have a lot of trouble doing. I'm glad that you are able to journal in your journal. I have a notebook that I wanted to be an art journal, but I'm afraid to mess up the beautiful pristine pages. Maybe after seeing your work, I should give it a try.
